PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

ORCON® CLASSIC is a multi-purpose sealant which forms an essential part of your air barrier system. Made from acrylate copolymers it maintains excellent elasticity once dry for a secure and permanent airtight seal of overlaps between pliable membranes and connecting into rigid structural components or mineral surfaces.

WEATHER EXPOSURE

This product is not designed to be exposed to the elements. Envelope details should be detailed to prevent direct sunlight onto the ORCON® Classic in service.

APPLICATION NOTES

Permanent adhesion is achieved on all pro clima interior and exterior membranes including INTELLO®, INTELLO® PLUS, SOLITEX MENTO® series of roof weather resistive barriers and SOLITEX EXTASANA® series of wall weather resistive barriers. Adhesion will also be achieved on other water control, vapour control and airtight membranes made of PE, PA, PP and aluminium. Joints can be achieved on mineral substrates (such as plaster or concrete), on unplaned, planed and painted wood, hard plastics and non-rusting metal (e.g. pipes, windows etc.), hard wood-based panels (chipboard, OSB, plywood panels, MDF board). It is your responsibility to check the suitability of the surface; adhesion tests are recommended if in doubt.
